Packing List

We encourage you to pack light and stay casual, we are at the beach!

  • Passport + Travel Documents
  • $20 USD broken down for travel process
  • Any additional spending money (outside of R2R)
  • Driver’s License (if you plant to rent a car or motorbike during your trip, this is essential)
  • Any medications or supplements you take
  • comfortable yoga/active clothes
  • shorts
  • tank tops/T-shirts
  • Sundresses
  • Swimsuits/Boardshorts
  • rashguard or wetsuit tops/spring suits
  • sarong or beach cover up
  • flip flops
  • tennis shoes for the local hike
  • long sleeve shirt or jacket, comfy loose pants in case it gets a little chilly (not too often)
  • rain jacket or poncho (optional)
  • REEF-SAFE sunscreen with at least 30SPF to protect your skin and the planet (avoid chemical sunscreen ingredients, learn more about safe sunscreen use here.)
  • mosquito repellent (can also purchase locally)
  • basic first aid kit (we have one too)
  • hats and sunglasses (protect your face and eyes from sun exposure!)
  • refillable water bottle (we offer free high ph Alkaline water available 24/7 and prefer to avoid using 1-time use plastic bottles)
  • WOMEN: Tampons/feminine hygiene products.
  • personal supplies of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, etc. We supply bars of soap, but the rest is at your discretion. There are small markets within a short walking distance if you need, but reusable containers are encouraged to reduce plastic waste in the oceans.
  • travel journal or any books you may want to read
  • Surfboards if you want your own, or rent from our quiver! Educate yourself on the surfboard travel fees so you can plan ahead and avoid surprises. A great resource is posted below, however you are responsible for knowing what your chosen airline’s most updated policies are.
